A peanut-shaped egg

Peanut-shaped eggOn Apr 27th, a hen in Zhuzhou city, China, produced a peanut-shaped egg after going through a “difficult labor” for 3 to 4 hours. Upon breaking this 3cm long egg, it was discovered that similar to an ordinary egg, it contains an egg yolk and egg white. The only difference is that the egg yolk is also shaped like a miniature peanut with a size equivalent to that of a soybean.

The owner of this hen also owns several dogs. As a result of close contacts with the dogs and being frightened by them on numerous occasions, this is the result.
